This Privacy Policy explains how From Nada to NIL collects, uses, and protects your personal information. It applies to all users including student-athletes, parents, coaches, and brand partners. Please read it in full before creating an account or submitting any information to the Platform.
1. Introduction and Scope
From Nada to NIL LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of New York. The Platform is accessible at fromnadatonil.com and through any associated mobile or web-based applications.
This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, storage, disclosure, and protection of personal information submitted by or collected from individuals who access or use the Platform, including student-athletes, parents and guardians, coaches, athletic administrators, and national brand partners (collectively, "Users," "you," or "your").
By accessing the Platform, creating an account, or submitting any information through the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the practices described herein. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with the Platform's Terms of Service, which is incorporated herein by reference.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you register for an account, subscribe to a membership tier, or interact with any feature of the Platform, we collect the following categories of personally identifiable information:
- Account registration information, including first and last name, email address, and password
- Billing and payment information, including credit or debit card details, billing address, and transaction history. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Athlete profile information, including sport, school or institution name, grade level or year of eligibility, social media handles and follower counts, highlight video URLs, biographical information, name, image, and likeness goals, and preferred contact email for brand inquiries
- Worksheet and course response data, including written answers to reflection questions submitted through the training modules
- Communications submitted through contact forms, customer support requests, or email correspondence with us
- Coaching session information, including session dates, topics, and video recording URLs where applicable
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Platform, we and our third-party service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address and general geolocation data derived therefrom
- Browser type, version, and operating system
- Device identifiers and device type
- Pages visited, features accessed, time spent on pages, and navigation paths within the Platform
- Referring URLs and exit pages
- Session duration and frequency of use
This information is collected through cookies, web beacons, log files, and similar tracking technologies. You may configure your browser to reject cookies; however, doing so may impair the functionality of certain features of the Platform.
2.3 Information Provided by Third Parties
If you elect to authenticate your account through a third-party service, we may receive certain profile information from that service as permitted by your privacy settings on the applicable platform. We may also receive information from payment processors, analytics providers, and email service providers in connection with the operation of the Platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create, maintain, and authenticate your account
- To process subscription payments, manage billing cycles, and administer free trial periods through our payment processor, Stripe, Inc.
- To provide access to training content, AI-powered advisory features, coaching session booking, and other Platform services commensurate with your membership tier
- To display your athlete profile in the brand partner directory, subject to your express consent as indicated by the profile visibility toggle on your profile page
- To send transactional emails, including account confirmation, password reset, subscription receipts, and membership renewal notices
- To send Platform updates, new feature announcements, and educational content where you have consented to receive such communications
- To respond to customer support inquiries and resolve disputes
- To improve the Platform's features, content, and user experience through aggregate analysis of usage data
- To comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
- To protect the rights, property, and safety of the Platform, its users, and the public
Important notice regarding AI Advisor interactions
Conversations with the AI NIL Advisor feature are processed through the Anthropic API. While we do not permanently store your individual chat messages on our servers beyond the active session, your inputs are transmitted to Anthropic, Inc. for processing in accordance with Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Do not submit sensitive personal information, financial account details, or confidential legal matters through the AI Advisor interface.
4. Children's Privacy and COPPA Compliance
Special notice: Users under the age of 13
The Platform is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), 15 U.S.C. Section 6501 et seq., and the FTC's COPPA Rule as amended April 22, 2025 and effective June 23, 2025 (the "2025 COPPA Rule"). If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.
The Platform is designed for use by student-athletes who are 13 years of age and older. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 are considered minors for purposes of this Privacy Policy. We strongly encourage parents and guardians to supervise their minor children's use of the Platform and to review the information submitted through any athlete profile.
Parents and guardians of users between the ages of 13 and 17 may contact us at fromnadatonil@gmail.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their minor child's personal information. We will respond to verified parental requests within a reasonable time.
Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may not make their athlete profile visible in the brand partner directory without affirmative confirmation during the profile setup process. We recommend that a parent or guardian review all profile information before enabling public visibility.
5. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. We may disclose your information in the following limited circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We share personal information with third-party vendors and service providers that support the operation of the Platform, including:
- Stripe, Inc. for payment processing and subscription management
- Supabase, Inc. for database hosting and user authentication
- Anthropic, Inc. for AI-powered advisory feature processing
- Email service providers for transactional and marketing communications
- Analytics providers for aggregate usage data analysis
All service providers are contractually required to use your information solely for the purpose of providing services to us and are prohibited from using it for their own independent commercial purposes.
5.2 Brand Partner Directory
If you are a student-athlete who has enabled the profile visibility toggle on your athlete profile page, your profile information, including your name, sport, school, social media handles, follower counts, highlight video, and inquiry email, will be visible to users who hold an active Brand Partner subscription. You may disable this visibility at any time by toggling the setting to off in your profile settings. Disabling visibility will remove your profile from the directory within 24 hours.
5.3 Legal Compliance and Protection
We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights or safety of the Platform, its users, or the public.
5.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction. We will provide notice of any such transfer and the opportunity to opt out where required by applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide you with our services. Upon cancellation or termination of your account, we will retain your information for a period not to exceed three (3) years to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Worksheet responses and course progress data may be retained for up to one (1) year following account termination to facilitate account reactivation if requested.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at fromnadatonil@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within thirty (30) days, subject to any legal obligations requiring retention.
7. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission via Transport Layer Security (TLS), password hashing, and role-based access controls within our database architecture.
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 2025 COPPA Rule amendments, the Platform maintains a written information security program that identifies reasonably foreseeable internal and external risks to the security, confidentiality, and integrity of personal information collected from users, including minors, and implements appropriate safeguards to address those risks.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction of residence, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- The right to access the personal information we hold about you
- The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations
- The right to opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly
- The right to data portability where technically feasible
- The right to lodge a complaint with your applicable data protection authority
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, and external services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the Platform. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party websites.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email and by posting a prominent notice on the Platform with the updated effective date.
Your continued use of the Platform following such notice constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform and may request deletion of your account.
